   Oh, that’s the best news in a long time!
   But I remember when we were ranked number one in the country my freshman year. That was also Jerry Faust’s first year. Let’s hope these prognosticators are better . . . .

   Well, for 25 years or more I’ve been told virtually every year how wonderful the team would be this year.
   Of course Notre Dame is the national champion every year, it’s just that on some years others don’t agree with us! 🙂

   I don’t see much love here for the SEC but they do have three teams in the Top 10 and six in the Top 20. LSU figures to be strong this season but it surely sucks that they’ll have to play those other Top 20 SEC teams, all but one on the road.
