Marion Barry Beer Ad Taken Down After Call From Lawyer
A beer poster produced by Frederick-based Flying Dog Brewery featuring an image of Councilmember Marion Barry (D-Ward 8) was taken down today at the behest of Barry’s lawyer.
The poster, which showed Barry next to the text “Crack One Open D.C.,” was advertising a release party this Saturday at Jack Rose Saloon for its Underdog Atlantic Lager.
Lighten up, dude.

The ones who really should be embarrassed are the idiots that re-elected Crackhead Barry as mayor.
Where’s the harm in that poster? That’s exactly what DC did when they re-elected Barry as mayor.
Truth in advertising is something that we all desire.
They could use the tag-line:
“Bitch, set me up!”
