   The chairman of the EU Parliament certainly was miffed at Mr. Farage’s speech.

   Which simply confirmed that he was spot on.

   Something I haven’t heard mentioned in this Brexit event is the fact that the EU was imposed on the continent over the objection of the populace when the Netherlands and France both voted “No”.

   I’ve never seen it mentioned, but I have to think that the rest of the EU has to be concerned about the hit their military is going to take, outside of maybe Germany. Britain was contributing a very high percentage of the collective military cost, which of course now ends. Britain’s money isn’t going to be replaced, so the only outcome is that military spending will have to be curtailed substantially. That will cause some knees to shake in a number of EU countries.
