Paging Jimmy The Greek

Have you seen his thighs?

Rob Parker added a new, unexpected canard to the Robert Griffin III conversation on Thursday morning. In yet another mindless round of conversation on ESPN’s “First Take,” Parker took up the issue of RGIII, whom the rookie quarterback voted for, and his fiance, who is white.

“Is he a brother, or is he a cornball brother,” Parker asked. “I keep hearing these things. We all know he has a white fiancée. There was all this talk about he’s a Republican.”

If this Parker fellow were white he’d be unemployed by now, and rightly so.

Obama will probably name Parker “race relations Czar”

  2. JeffS says:

That’s the new civility, a/k/a racism as practiced by the left.

    Link is wrong I think.

    And I’m a poet.

    Ah, thanks Skyler!

    I think I’ve fixed it…

I grew up in Georgia in the 50’s and 60’s, so I’ve seen racism at its worst. Lots of people my age, notwithstanding the ugly influences of their childhood, have left racism behind them and live their lives and treat people on a basis completely devoid of color consideration. Obama and much of the empowered black community have done a great deal tochange that in a short few years by endless versions of the ESPN guy’s comments. It’s reverse racism, plain and simple and has created a divisiveness that I haven’t seen for a long time.

That guy should be fired. So RG III is not a true brother? Didn’t know there was a litmus test for being “Black”. He questions RGIII as not being one of us, not being part of the cause? Gee, there’s no racial divide now is there?

  7. mojo says:

Oh, come on Parker – go ahead and call him a “house nigger”, you know you want to…

  8. nightfly says:

Hm… So Rush Limbaugh speculates that the media has different standards of play for black quarterbacks, and gets fired. Rob Parker proves him right, and gets…. ????
