Reporter: What does IGNORANCE and EMPATHY mean?

    Obama: I don’t know and I don’t care.

Totally OT, but have you seen this piece? http://allafrica.com/stories/201409240829.html
Apparently Ebola victims are resurrecting now! I especially liked the line about the patients “regaining life in total disbelief.”

This is a perfect example of the stupidity behind the Left’s attempt to call out Bush for his salute whilst laden with a dog.

Bush was obviously a guy with a great respect for the military, who honored them for going into harm’s way when called to do so. They in turn respected him: it’s hard to recall another president in my lifetime who had that same level of regard among the armed forces (perhaps Reagan; I trust Ms. Sister and Major Dad will be able to correct me).

Obama has this mixture of contempt for and indifference to the military and our veterans. You’ve got the VA scandal, and the Fort Hood “workplace violence” bunk, and the cut-and-run job in the Middle East that rendered moot all the blood sacrificed there, and the cluelessness and indecision and credit-hogging… I could go on.

W probably should have put down his dog and then saluted, or had someone else carry the pooch. Sure – but it’s also the last thing he’d do because he is, at heart, rather a humble everyday fellow. He probably thought, “It’s a dad’s job to take care of things like this and not pass off the responsibility to someone else,” so he grabbed the dog rather than make a Marine or a Secret Service guy do it for him – as if they were his valets. Then he saluted (awkwardly) because it’s what the CiC ought to do.

Based on his prior behavior, it’s impossible to think Obama was anything but his typical clueless and arrogant self. He simply couldn’t be arsed to finish the drink before he left the ‘copter, or even bother to swap hands for a proper salute.

‘Fly, that’s exactly why I call bulls**t on any and all attempts to pass “Semper Chai” off as a faux paus.

The Barney Salute was a faux paus, silly but understandable in a man like Bush. Semper Chai was pure contempt from our child President.

Why doesn’t Obama just read the phone book at these things? It would have the same import & would relieve others of the tedium of trying to make sense of his verbiage.
