    I turned the news on for a few minutes while at home over lunch.

    Remember in A Christmas Story, how Ralphie said “Ohhhhh…fffffffudge?” (except he didn’t say ‘fudge’)? That’s exactly what I said and exactly how I said it.

    Notice how they saved this news for a day when his Attorney General was supposed to respond to subpoenas being dropped on his ass? And, the second that someone asked about F&F subpoenas at this triumphant “we saved you” presser, Holder said “I’ll comply” and stalked off?

    But the gist is, the Administration announced that they had foiled an Iranian terror plot in the US. A serious one, it appears, including car bombing a couple of embassies.

    In all seriousness, we’ve accused another sovereign power of plotting to explode a bomb in a crowded restaurant in our nation’s capital to kill a diplomat.

    That’s generally not a prelude to a cocktail party invite.
