So Now We’re Told That Because Yellen Is A Woman

We’re supposed to be enthusiastic and ecstatic that her being nominated to be Chair of the Fed will be so “historic.”

Just how well has placing people in important positions because of their skin color or what’s between their legs worked out for us?

You know would be really historic?

Nominating someone sensible.

   That would be more of a novelty than historic, especially given the amateur we have sitting in the #SpiteHouse. But I take your meaning.

   Many Democrats have a problem with that whole “content of character” thing since they themselves lack character.
