Yeah, that’s what disturbed me as well. It was a memorial, not a campaign stop.
Totally agree, the cheering and all that BS got me so upset, people were murdered and idiots are acting like its a pep rally.
I’ll cut the Prez slack, and say his speech for the most part was fine. The crowd, however, was not. And T-SHIRTS??? WTF???
Care to bet on what the motto for Bambi’s re-election campaign will be?
Erm, despite the fact that Reagan’s speech brought tears to my eyes (again), he did manage to stick ONE little political dig in there – at the Soviets (about not hiding the space program).
Nonetheless, it was a great speech. And it’s been a VERY long time since I last heard it.

Why does Obama so rarely speak from his office?
