The Worst Tragedy In The History Of Mankind
I am inconsolable
IT was certainly an expensive drop – more than $1 million worth of shiraz wine has gone down the drain after it was dropped by a malfunctioning forklift.
The 462 cases of 2010 Mollydooker Velvet Glove shiraz – at $185 a bottle – fell more than 6m to the ground as it was being loaded for export from Adelaide to the US.
I adore Molly Dooker’s wine…although I’ve never splurged on this Velvet Glove stuff.
I’m leaving to go drown my sorrows.
As Mr. B. probably knows, this is why they put wine in a box.
I’d like to have a go at a forklift that can lift 462 cases of wine.
What about the Iron Fist Fortified Wine?
They didn’t drop that, did they?
Rob, I read elsewhere that a whole container was dropped, which makes sense then.
Did they have to throw it away? Where’s the harm in a few shards?
I thought I felt a great disturbance in the Force…
bing,i feel your pain,i will drown with you.
That would never happen to Bud Light in the can.
