Reminded me of when they pulled Anthony Bourdain out of Lebanon and I’ve actually found that section of the show. Brings tears to my eyes even now.

   I’m sure the Egyptians will give them a wide berth. Don’t think for a minute that Tehran 1979 isn’t on their minds.

   And an added “whiskey foxtrot tango” – why haven’t we pulled out the embassy personnel already? At least temporarily?

   I heard 52,000 Americans are registered at the Cairo U.S. Embassy and so far 2500 have asked for help leaving Egypt. I hope they all will stay safe and violence is kept at a minimum. God bless the Marines, all those people trapped in Egypt, and all folks who are trying to help them.

   The Chinook you saw once or twice during that Bourdain show was from Big Windy – my son’s unit. Half of them were sent there for the crisis. My son was in Germany doing a class he had to take so he missed the fun.
