Salty burger lands McDonald’s employee in jail
Police officer says oversalted meat made him sick; worker faces charges

UNION CITY, Ga. – A McDonald’s employee spent a night in jail and is facing criminal charges because a police officer’s burger was too salty, so salty that he says it made him sick.

The clown ain’t smilin’. (They couldn’t just toss it and make another burger? I mean, what do those cost McDonald’s ~ about 2 1/2 ¢ a piece?)
I’m thinking I hit the drive through at our local Krispy Kreme and come back a couple hours later for too much glaze on the donut. I’ll own them.

  2. I think it’s the first time in recorded history that someone noticed the salt on Mickey D’s anything. I’m curious if it was vefore or after he shoved a handful of those fries into his maw.

    Maybe he chomped down on the burger, and sucked on the milkshake, sotra like a margarita, and noticed a bigger difference than usual?

    He went through the drive-thru? Someone I know who was a cop once told me that they never, ever, used the drive-thru for just this reason. They didn’t stop at any fast food place where they couldn’t watch their order being handled. I don’t think he was being paranoid, he worked a neighborhood where police/community relations were strained to say the least.
