Yeah, That Would Do It
The City of Oakridge has not completed an audit since 2008, something Zimmerman blames on “the difficulty in making the numbers work.”
A lot of poorly run local fiefdoms are having this issue, I reckon.
And states.
And countries.
Judging by the eight “significant deficiencies” from the 2008 audit, I would have started a recall for all elected officials, and a petition to fire the professional staff.
Malfeasance in office would be the first reason. The second, people were not doing their jobs.
Makes me wonder about the rest of Oregon, frankly.
