Yes, You’re Right

It’s ALL ABOUT HIM.

White House braced for Bowe Bergdahl backlash

…White House aides were aware Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl had been tagged a deserter, and that they would be grilled over not keeping Congress in the loop. But they figured people would be most outraged over the national security implications.

The White House has been surprised by how much attention has remained on the questions about Bergdahl, from the circumstances of his disappearance to the wild beard his father grew while he was being held that’s even led to Bergdahl’s hometown canceling a celebration.

All this, Obama aides say, is in their minds a proxy for the hatred toward the president.

Nothing to do with the fact that Bergdahl is an INVESTIGATED and DOCUMENTED deserter (only question is “why?”) or that YOUR administration has muzzled his unit mates for FIVE YEARS.

It’s that we hate YOU.

It’s ALWAYS YOU.

A failed presidency in denial. Its not a particularly pleasant thing to watch uncoil, but even Obama’s media partners are finding it hard to spin any positives on this Bergdhal story. Obama is proving to be the Sombrero of Azzhats.

I’m waiting for Skippy to promote a new patriotic song, like “Old Shoe” in “Wag the Dog”.

“Proxy” is not a synonym for “yet another damned good reason.”

  4. JeffS says:

I suppose that this could be considered, in a very backhanded manner, that Obama is accepting responsibility for the series of monumental f**k-ups that he and his flying monkeys have orchestrated in this particular case.

    But I rather doubt it.

…I just. You know, even during GW Bush’s second term when things were falling into the toilet left and right, and public opinion was highly against him, his people didn’t pull crap like this. They need to get the f**k over themselves.

  6. Skyler says:

It’s not a proxy for hatred. It’s the cause of the hatred. That’s how it’s really all about him..

Does saying the White House is stirring things up to keep the focus on Bergdahl and away from the illegal release of 5 terrorists sound paranoiac?

  8. BlackDog says:

With this presidick, paranoia is just common sense. In DC , that is as rare as dilithium.

The people blubbering racism are making a very large assumption which even a liberal ought to realize is bonkers. If the reactions to all Obumbler’s howlers was owing to racist animosity to him because he’s (half, remember the old Democratic party’s priciple of one drop) black, then they must assume that all those acts would be acceptable or even praiseworthy to the critics if they were done by, let us say, Joe Biden, a white man. This assumption is one of such surpassing stupidity that it’s hard to believe that even a liberal, even Harry “Dementia” Reid, would actually believe it.

This is the wrong fight to fight.Even though I think Obama is a lousy president and possibly a total fake, he is President of the US and Commander-in-Chief. He has the right to pardon anyone he wants. This is like the Tenure Act they passed against President Andrew Johnson. It won’t hold water. This is the wrong fight to fight.

How soon before someone implies that being less-than-ecstatic over the “prisoner swap” renders one somehow a racist?
