Talladega gets crazily crazy.
Insane.
Sort of the perfect metaphor for socialism, it seems to me. Restrictor plates trying to make everyone equal leads to a huge crash.

Watched it happen! We was like, “DAAAYYYYUUUMMM!!!! Now THAT’S a wreck!”
Of course, had it been on your telly, it would have been described thusly: “Good gracious. What a scrum. Appalling.”
Hey, I admit I wished I had been watching!
Give Stewart credit for taking the blame. Helluva wreck, that.
Gary, that was almost a bigger shocker than the wreck, wasn’t it? Usually he’s fighting his way out of the Care Center to go beat somebody else up for causing it. He was PRET-TEE humble.
The article is very uninformative as to why restrictor plates are to blame. Seems to me like the tracks themselves are the problem.
I *think* Skyler my understanding is that the restrictor plates make all the cars go basically the same speed, so you end up with these huge packs of cars all jostling at 200 mph around the last lap; unlike in a normal race where differences in the cars will stretch the field out over the 500 miles.
