See? It Was All Just…Random

Why, just listen as the mostest eloquentest Genius Evuh explains it to us Morons

It is entirely legitimate for, uh, the American people to be deeply concerned when you’ve got a buncha, uh… violent, vicious zealots, uh, who behead people or randomly shoot… uh… a buncha folks, uh, in a, in a deli in Paris. Uh…

The refusal to say what is plainly going on is either a sign of craven cowardice or an endorsement of it.

Well, or just plain obtuse intellectual stupidity.

Update: Via Ace, here are a few more random notes:

-“Help Wanted” ad in France says “If possible, no Jews please”

-“A Month After (random!) Kosher Market Attack, French Jews Plan Exodus

Randomly, of course.

Updated Update: This is really just too random to pass up

It seems like something one would be hard pressed to disagree with: the word “coexist,” written on a wall using a Muslim crescent as the letter “C,” a Star of David as the letter “X,” and a Christian cross as a “T.”

But in Paris, this particular iteration of the popular inscription—here, created by the street artist Combo, who also pasted a life-size photo of himself next to it—didn’t go down well with everybody. Le Monde reports that four young people asked the artist to remove it last weekend, and beat him up severely when he refused to do so.

Ah those Presbyterian Yutes and their lack of culture!

I Love Twitter

I really really do. It is catnip for Lefties to make those nasty snap remarks that show how they truly feel, how they denigrate others and they finally are getting caught at it.

Case in point: President Christina Kirchner of Argentina, who is in China to beg the Chinese to loan her bankrupt philosophy country billions of dollars, couldn’t resist sending out a Tweet mocking Asian accents

(Bloomberg) — China’s social media users turned on visiting Argentine President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner in outrage, derision and to demand an apology after she published a Twitter post mocking the Chinese accent.
Fernandez replaced r’s with l’s in the tweet after she met with Chinese business leaders in Beijing during a trip aimed at raising investment in the recession-hit South American economy. “Did they only come for lice and petloleum?” Fernandez wrote in Spanish on her Twitter account yesterday, before saying “Sorry” a minute in a separate post a minute later.

Here’s the original text:

Más de 1.000 asistentes al evento… ¿Serán todos de “La Cámpola” y vinieron sólo por el aloz y el petlóleo?

I’m sure there will be some interesting conditions on this loan…

Huckabee…

…is such an ass

that is all.

Here’s A Few “Cowards” For Michael Moore

I mean, just look at this guy

Between 10 November and 17 December 1942, during the Battle of Stalingrad, he killed 225 soldiers and officers of the Wehrmacht and other Axis armies, including 11 enemy snipers.

Prior to 10 November, he killed 32 Axis soldiers with the standard-issue Mosin–Nagant rifle (effective range of 900 metres). Between October 1942 and January 1943, Zaytsev made an estimated 400 kills, some at distances of more than 1,000 metres.

What a chickenshit.

And don’t even get me started on the biggest coward of all time: Simo Häyhä

Hayha’s involvement in the Winter War was very extraordinary. With his Mosin-Nagant M91 rifle, he would dress in white winter camouflage, and carry with him only a day’s worth of supplies and ammunition. While hiding out in the snow, he would then take out any Russian who entered his killing zone. Hayha preferred to use iron sights on his gun instead of scopes, as scopes had a tendency to glare in the sunlight and reveal his position. While he may sound like an ordinary sniper, this was far from the case: over the course of 100 days during the winter he racked up over 500 kills, earning him the nickname “The White Death”. The Soviets feared him so much that they mounted numerous counter sniper and artillery attacks to get rid of him, all of which failed miserably. However, on March 6th, 1940, he was hit in the jaw by an explosive round from a counter sniper. He fell into an 11-day coma, awakening on the day that the war ended.

In the -20 to -40C weather he would lie all day in the snow, and always kept snow in his mouth so that his breath would not steam and give away his position.

And no scope.

The Ultimate Coward.

While I’m not sure how much help it will be when confronting Shape-Shifting Jews it is encouraging to see a muslim public official defend Western Values better than, er, Western Leaders really

Moroccan-born mayor of Rotterdam tells fellow Muslims who do not appreciate the ‘freedoms’ of living in the West to ‘pack your bags and f*** off’ on live TV
Ahmed Aboutaleb, a Moroccan-born Muslim, spoke after Paris attack
The mayor said Dutch Muslims who ‘don’t like freedom’ can f*** off
He added: ‘Vanish from the Netherlands if you cannot find your place here’

…’It is incomprehensible that you can turn against freedom,’ Mayor Aboutaleb told Dutch current affairs program Nieuwsuur (Newshour).
‘But if you don’t like freedom, for heaven’s sake pack your bags and leave.
‘If you do not like it here because some humorists you don’t like are making a newspaper, may I then say you can f*** off.

Mind you, I would most strongly not limit his comments to only Muslims; they apply to everyone.

The BBC

When in doubt, blame the jews

It’s what allows a BBC anchor today to berate a French woman complaining about threats to Jews in France after the murders at the kosher supermarket, with a harangue about Israel.

Disgusting.

But telling.

The Editors Have Been Sacked

And well they should have: via ZeroHedge take a gander at Thursday’s “News-Enterprise,” which claims to be “serving” Hardin County, Kentucky:

20150108_cops_0

As Insta would say, “layers and layers of Fact Checkers”

No reasonable excuse exists for the horrible mistake that occurred Thursday in The News-Enterprise. By now, many of you have heard about it.

The paper reported on the front page in a paraphrased statement: “Hardin County Sheriff John Ward said those who go into the law enforcement profession typically do it because they have a desire to shoot minorities.”

Sheriff Ward is not responsible for the statement. He said nothing of the sort.

A retraction and apology has been printed Friday on Page A1. As community members and neighbors, we feel it is important to repeat this apology again publicly to Sheriff John Ward, the entire law enforcement community and to you, our readers.

We share the outrage and disgust expressed by many of you.

Internally, the newspaper leadership spent yesterday researching this error, discovering the form it took and taking corrective action. As a result, the two people involved were fired.

Reporter Anna Taylor, whose name was on the story, is not responsible for this error.

Many of Thursday’s upset callers asked the same question: “Doesn’t anyone proof your newspaper?”

Well, surprisingly that’s where the error took place. A function and process designed to rid the news pages of error instead added a terrible one that altered the reporter’s original sentence. No reasonable excuse can exist.

It takes years to develop trust. It takes only seconds to destroy it.

We understand our credibility may be called into question but the sheriff should not be subjected to the same scrutiny.

Again, no excuse. The newspaper asks only for your understanding. Our staff will strive to recapture your respect and earn your faith anew.

Hats-off to editor Ben Sheroan for his prompt page A-1 response.

The NYT could learn some things from him.

Every “Brave” Artist Who Lampoons the Pope, Catholics or Christians Again

At Least 11 Reported Dead In Paris Shooting

The shooting took place at the offices of the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo.

I’m sure this will be labelled “workplace violence”

Several people have been killed by armed gunmen in a shooting at the Paris offices of a satirical magazine, according to French media reports.
Shooting was heard at the headquarters of Charlie Hebdo, a satirical magazine known for publishing controversial cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed in 2011.
Initial reports said between seven and 10 people had been killed.
The attackers reportedly escaped in a black Citreon DS, wounding a policemen, then knocking over and wounding “several” pedestrians.

“Several men in black cagoules were heard to shout ‘the Prophet has been avenged'”, wrote Pierre de Cossette, a broadcast journalist with Europe1 News.

Clearly, there seems to be no possible motive

The magazine cover this week is on “Submission,” a book by Michel Houellebecq released today, which is sparking controversy with its depiction of a fictional France of the future led by an Islamic party and a Muslim president who bans women from the workplace.

Further, from The Guardian:

Charlie Hebdo has a long record of taking its satire seriously. The weekly magazine’s response to previous efforts at intimidation was to be even more controversial or outrageous, defying the constraints of religious sensitivity or political correctness.

In November 2011, its offices were fire-bombed after it had published a special edition, supposedly guest-edited by the Prophet Mohammed and temporarily renamed ‘Charia Hebdo’. The cover was a cartoon of Mohammed threatening the readers with ‘a hundred lashes if you don’t die laughing’.

The petrol bomb attack completely destroyed the Paris offices, the magazine’s website was hacked and the staff were subjected to death threats. But six days later, it published a new front page depicting a male Charlie Hebdo cartoonist passionately kissing a bearded Muslim man in front of the charred aftermath of the bombing. The headline this time was: L’Amour plus fort que la haine (Love is stronger than hate).

State: Yeah, we don’t know if Cuba has released the 53 prisoners we required they release

State Department Spokesperson Jen Psaki repeatedly refused to answer questions this afternoon about the 53 political detainees Cuba promised to release as part of a deal with President Obama to normalize relations with the United States.

When asked about a lack of transparency in the prisoner exchange process, Psaki said, “Well, we know who’s on there. And the Cuban government knows who’s on there.” …

After Psaki stated that she had no updates to provide, a befuddled Matt Lee asked, “Hold on — hold on a second. Can we — I mean, is it — what’s happening? Are they out? Are they not out? … Where are they?”

Psaki responded, “I don’t have any more updates to provide for you, Matt.”

Lee, frustrated, followed up, “So the Cubans don’t actually have to do anything?”

It is beyond pathetic.

Wonder why?

So The White House Is Treating The Sony Hack As A Matter Of National Security

Well then Sony’s capitulation makes sense, doesn’t it?

Sounds Like a Plan

Quote Of The Day

The comments angered cops, with one saying, “Did he tell his son to be wary of his police bodyguards, that he should be afraid of them as they pick him up at school and drive him where he needs to go?”

Reaction to Mayor de Blasio’s remarks from the other night.

I wonder if he “warned his son about the dangers” of the 47 member police security detail that went with him and his family on their vacation to Italy this Summer?

Meanwhile, Back In Chicago

via ZeroHedge, here’s some interesting data on something that the media and activists keep ignoring in their Ferguson Focus

While the events down in Ferguson play out, back in Chicagoland the same old bullshit continues day in and day out with nary a peep. In the 107 days since officer Darren Wilson shot and killed 18 year old Michael Brown – 12:03pm, Saturday, August 9th – the following stupidity has taken place in Chicago:

155 homicides (74% black males)
725 shot & wounded
Six (6) 18 year olds killed: Kawantis Montgomery, Kamaal Burton, Tony McIntos, Alexandra Burgos, Rayvon Little, Johnathan Cartwright
59 18 year olds shot & wounded
29 teenagers (13-19) killed
244 teenagers (13-19) shot and wounded
10 shot (5 killed) by the CPD
2 teens – 17yo Laquan McDonald & 19yo Roshad McIntosh – shot & killed by the CPD
9yo Antonio Smith was executed by 4 jagoffs
3yo Donnell Coakley killed by his mother
Brutal, yet incredibly asinine and absurd to say the least.

So what is it about these stats that hasn’t caused people to lose their collective shit?

After all, there have been plenty of opportunities to march, chant, throw shit, break stuff, come up with a hashtag, etc… in the past few months, not only in Chicago, but all over the nation. So where is the national media? The cable news talking heads? The race pimpin’ super duo of Jesse and Al? The professional agitators and social justice warriors? The exploiting politicians? Almost 900 shootings and homicides in the past three months and not one is worthy of their attention.

It’s all about the Narrative, kids, and how that can be turned to their advantage.

No one gives a shit about the bodies.

Thanksgiving? Really?

For some reason I am on Salon.com’s email list. Whilst it is an interesting glimpse into the attitude of the obnoxious, bossy Left, I usually just delete the emails right away because, well, I just can’t be bothered.

But I have to admit that today’s email both annoyed me and made me sad. Here’s what the top story was:

How to win Thanksgiving: Your guide to arguing with relatives
JIM NEWELL It’s going to be especially hard to avoid politics at Thanksgiving this year. Here’s how you can defeat Uncle Dingo

Now, this is always the style with them, these pretentious “Here’s How” articles to help the Enlightened Left exert their proper moral authority over us Cromagnonian rubes and out wit us with their Superior Logic™ (which is, of course, obviously a wasted effort as we can’t understand logic in the first place, being schtupid and all).

But what makes me especially sad is this concept that every conversation, every event, every Holiday is a political contest that needs to be “won” in some way or another, that the very people who so loudly and incessantly decry the lack of “diversity” and “respect for others” are so insistent that their point of view not only is correct but in fact must be assiduously imposed upon every occasion, upon every conversation until complete adherence to the acceptable orthodoxy is obtained.

It’s not actually “especially hard to avoid politics at Thanksgiving this year.” It’s quite simple.

You avoid it.

You shut up.

If someone says some overtly political statement, you say “yes, a pity. Would you like more cranberry sauce?”

When everything becomes a contest, a contested event, we all lose.

Even SNL Is Starting To Wake Up

It’s pretty accurate, brutal…and about 6 years too late.

Update: meh, I see NBC has blocked the video. Oh well, it’s also here.

Constitution? Separation Of Powers?

What a pathetic joke.

No, Sorry CNN

You didn’t get pasted in the mid-terms because of Freemasons sharing information on Twitter for god’s sake

Washington (CNN) — Republicans and outside groups used anonymous Twitter accounts to share internal polling data ahead of the midterm elections, CNN has learned, a practice that raises questions about whether they violated campaign finance laws that prohibit coordination.
The Twitter accounts were hidden in plain sight. The profiles were publicly available but meaningless without knowledge of how to find them and decode the information, according to a source with knowledge of the activities.
The practice is the latest effort in the quest by political operatives to exploit the murky world of campaign finance laws at a time when limits on spending in politics are eroding and regulators are being defanged.

I find it so pathetic that the Dems are so up in arms that the polls they commissioned and took ahead of the election were wrong…the polls, mind you, not, say, their awful policies.

But yes, of course, so now the rallying cry will be “Government control of da Interwebz is needed to keep us Free!”

“Don’t Cry”

“Obama will still give you free condoms.”

It’s Only Taken Six Years

and trillions of dollars in debt and god only knows the damage done by the unconstitutional diktats and social/economic/racial polarizing but at last the Press is finally kinda sorta maybe getting the idea that this White House is full of shit

Thanks for doing your job, guys.

To Learn To Stand You Have To Fall A Few Times

Test Flights are risky.

Does this mean that the FAA should have been more involved in regulating this activity? No. This was a test flight. This is what test flights are for. The desert around Mojave has a decades-long history of smoking holes in the ground and test-pilot funerals, though most of them usually originate from Edwards AFB, a few mile to the south.

RIP as-yet-unnamed pilot, and may your memory be properly honored by more work and further, successful test flights.
