…”It’s Safe to Say There Was a Collective Sigh of Brown Relief…”

…when the Tucson killer turned out to be a gringo.

An NPR reporter explains how awful it is to be Hispanic in Arizona the United States with all these haters.

…In short, the only reason the nation is taking a few days to reflect on the animosity in politics today is precisely that the shooter was not Latino….

… I admit sadly that it was only after I saw the shooter’s gringo surname that I was able to go on and read the rest of the news about those who lost their lives on Saturday and those who, like Rep. Giffords, were severely wounded. I admit also that I felt some small relief in knowing that at least this shooting wouldn’t be used as a reason for yet another backlash against immigrants, or at least that’s what I’m hoping. In this political climate, it’s hard to tell.

I think she’s forgotten who took the bullets here, don’t you?

Bingley Update:

Boy, the way the comment thread has devolved makes me want to buy someone a beer

I heard this crap on the way home from work and it made my jaw drop. She’s thankful it was “gringo” that was the shooter? I’m sorry, but if the shooter had a hispanic surname it would have been no better or worse. If he was an illegal alien, yes that would have caused more outrage as it should. But if he was citizen, who would have said squat? It’s brain dead people like this woman that stoke racism, brown vs white indeed. Screw her.

  2. John F says:

Wow — it was only by chance that I came upon this website and this post. (Must be kismet.) I, too, just got done hearing Daisy Hernandez’s vaguely camouflaged ethno-grievance piece on NPR. What disingenuous dreck through and through! Every time she used the word “immigrant”, it should’ve been preceded by “illegal” to ring even remotely true. The “brown” and SB 1070 references are also a reach. Talk about missing the point!

  3. NJSue says:

This is the ugly fruit of group identity politics.

  4. JeffS says:

No, I don’t think she’s forgotten who was shot. She just doesn’t care.

  5. spot says:

I watched part of the Tuscon memorial service online this morning (our time). I had to log out about the time the cheers and hootin’ & hollerin’ for O’Bambi, with the POTUS and First Lady grinning like the cats what got the cream, started.

I appreciated the Copeland – his Fanfare for the Common Man is one of my favourites, so I’m listening to that instead, now.

And that’s all I’ll say about that, because I don’t like to get swear-y online.

  6. Gunslinger says:

    Señorita Hernandez,

    ¡Cállate la boca perra estúpida!

  7. nightfly says:

JeffS – sadly, it’s worse than all that. If she didn’t care it would be a step forward… she cares, but only insomuch as it can be used in service of the larger narrative. Par for the course with this crime, and it’s atrocious to behold.

  8. ed says:

Gringo is pejorative. Anglo is not.

  9. Mustafa says:

Ah, Daisy Hernandez. There’s a phrase in Spanish that popped into mind that applies to her. “Pinche pendeja”, I think? No, I don’t think it was “pinche pendeja”, but perhaps it sounded like “pinche pendeja”? Or maybe it was the male equivalent of “pinche pendeja”, or something similar to but not quite “pinche pendeja”? Wait, it’ll come to me in a minute…

  10. P. Aaron says:

Would love to see that editorial published on a for-profit network’s webpage. How soon would the calls for firings, apologies & removals & sensitivity training start coming in from all corners? No too mention some congressional hearings about political discourse on the radio.

  11. GH says:

It is really strange that gringo is slang for a foriegner in a spainish country. I couldn’t beleive it when she said that. Is this how spanish people think of whitey?

  12. Agoraphobic Plumber says:

Oh, come on guys, give the lady a break. If she didn’t complain about how badly her “brown” (HER word, NOT mine) people are treated, she wouldn’t have a job. And her employer doesn’t care if she uses terms offensive to the ones she applying them to, so why should she?

  13. Don M says:

She show once again that racists are stupid.

  14. ljgkihw3ihtig says:

How come she can get away with using the term gringo? The N word has consequences, when I was in school there was an S word too for spanish speakers.

Why is there no thought or care about anti-white racism? It certainly doesn’t make whites more sympathetic to Latino concerns for them to call us gringo’s. In a decmocracy where there are so many white voters it ought to be simple self interest to at least be polite.

  15. Laika's Last Woof says:

You couldn’t even hear the sound of gunfire over the sound of Daisy Hernandez screaming, “It’s all about ME!”

It’s more narcissism than perspective over at NPR.

  16. Californio says:

Ah, speak so I may know you. Growing up in an overwhelmingly Mexican-American neighborhood – east of downtown Los Angeles – I could not recall EVER referring to white people as “gringos”. That woman sounded like low-brow trash – and whether you are white, brown, black or yellow – trash is trash.

  17. M Mares says:

Major Dad, thank you for introducing General Truth.

I wish to apologize on behalf of myself and other hispanics for Daisy Hernandez’s shameful behavior.

Has NPR apologized yet? Or are the NPR people resigned to seeing NPR subsidies cut off?

  18. tree hugging sister says:

You’re right, Laika. A little girl is dead, grandmothers, grandfathers…but her very FIRST concern is “WHEW! Thank God it wasn’t Juan from Algondonez!” What a miserable piece of work.

She gets to read a whole editorial column ON-AIR of this really despicable, hateful bilge ~ USING a pejorative REPEATEDLY ~ and Juan Williams gets fired for a couple lines during a roundtable discussion in ANOTHER venue?

    ¿QUE?

And for the Krugmans of the world ~ please note: major dad, my wonderful, mostly conservative, half-Hispanic, gun-owning husband and the person who came in the door from work snorting indignant fire after hearing this on the ride home…listens not to Rush or Beck, but to NPR.
    EVERY day.

As the good professor says, I think that’s called a “narrative fail”.

  19. Well, as a Puerto Rican, brought up in way South Texas, I am highly offended by that claptrap on NPR. Never have I used the term “gr*ng*”. I find it distasteful, having been told the origins by a Mexican. The term has not “evolved” as a comment at the link says. If anything, it has become the favored term of the gangs around the border, used in the same context as the dreaded N word.

I hope Daisy is proud of herself. She has managed to out NPR even more.

  20. Gary from Jersey says:

Check out LaRaza and Aztlan to see where this self-absorbed piece of crap is coming from. She’s on point for some of the most hate-filled and violent movements in this country.

These people poison our food, murder innocents and leach off our social services because they think they’re entitled because of “historical wrongs.”

They have to go. All of them.

  21. Denise says:

To all of you that are posting the pro forma, by the book, self-delusional platitudes abour “ugly racism” et al – haven’t you noticed yet the Race MATTERS? lways has. Always will. Race is simply extended family – the sames genes – and families – genetic kinship – is the way every society has organized itself since Humans have existed (to those of you about to protest – prove me WRONG. With FACTS – not egalitariast mumbo jumbo). The “Brown People – and other “colored” people are keenly aware of this verity. Does the nsme “La Raza” ring any bells? The only demographic that refuses to deal with reality are the vain, self-deluded yet self-congratulatory,and rapidly disappearing White People – who tell themselves that they are “above Race” and wallow in their false morality” of “equality”. No matter – Whitey’s almost gone, in terms of world population. Those of you posting your idiocy about “race not mattering” are beginning to see how much Race does matter – as you are utterly displaced by the People of Color. And they don’t like you, Whitey. Sooner or later – most likely much sooner – you aren’t going to be able to lie to yourselves any more.

The USA is splitting apart along ethnic lines. The break-up is gonna be ugly.

  22. Alexander D. Mitchell IV says:

And they wonder why so many folks want NPR/CPB’s federal funding zeroed out?

  23. major dad says:

I think we can see who is delusional here.

  24. tree hugging sister says:

Oh, Denise, you angry cupcake, you. First ~ manners. Don’t come on someone’s blog and go all “whitey” and stuff like that. No one HERE is calling YOU anything harsher than, well, “cupcake”.

And before you light your own fuse, you need to read comments a tad more thoroughly. Or isn’t that in your “Handbook on How to Whine Effectively”? Perhaps it’s your vast smugness clouding your brain as you post, because you’ve already got a preconceived idea of what we’ve written?

In any event, welcome and thank you for the clarification on the whole “race” thing from your perspective. WE thought we were being “Americans” and “compassionate”, you know, because a little girl and 5 other folks were SHOT and DIED, and then other folks were SHOT, TOO, and we thought it was just the TEENSIEST BIT…self absorbed, can we say…of the SILLY TWIT…damn, that was mean of me…to worry about “was freaking Juan Martinez the shooter” instead of the singular HORROR in the SUPERMARKET PARKING LOT!!!

But YOU DON’T SEE IT that way, and I feel sorry for that loss of YOUR humanity, and YOUR OWN RACIST narcissism causing such a sad, little “idiotic” comment.

Race is simply extended family“, you said. Family of Man ring a bell, ignorant one? And we ALL bleed.

  25. NJSue says:

Um, who precisely are the “People of Color”? That’s just another self-congratulatory cant phrase in itself. And what is “egalitariast [sic] mumbo jumbo” about wanting a ethnicity-blind justice system? Why is is delusional to want one? It’s brute human nature to be prejudiced and parochial, and favor people like oneself. Why should we enshrine this base impulse into law and celebrate it in public discourse? I don’t want to live in a barbaric tribal village and I think you’ll find most Americans don’t either, despite your “Whitey” and “People of Color” crap.

  26. submandave says:

Sister & Sue, I think you are mistaking from where Denise is comming. Her post is not a self-congratulatory “we’re taking over” boast like PE’s “Fear of a Black Planet,” it’s a tragic cry of “they’re taking over” typical of white separatists and the racial purity group. Doesn’t make it any more sane, but thought you might have been confused by her tortured prose.

  27. tree hugging sister says:

It was “torture”, I’ll give you THAT, LOL!

  28. nightfly says:

Denise: Nobody here has any need at all to prove that racism is ugly. You have just done so far more effectively than anyone else could hope to do. But I thank you anyway, for making it quite clear what you are.

N Mares: “I wish to apologize on behalf of myself and other hispanics for Daisy Hernandez’s shameful behavior.”

That is touching – but around here, not necessary. You are yourself, and no other. It’s the left that assumes that your behavior, thinking, and politics are predetermined by your ethnicity – an assumption the Swillers all wholeheartedly reject.

  29. mojo says:

    Gringo?

I believe the accepted slur is “gabacho”, friend.

  30. halfastro says:

    Your tax dollars at work.

  31. Jeff Morrison says:

Releived when I heard the “gringo” surname. Are you kidding me. She is a nut, but NPR is 10 times the nut for putting her in the air. I turned the station on my way home. I will leave it off today.

  32. Denise says:

You all missed it what I was saying. I’m saying that Race Matters – no matter how hard you close your eyes, and whisper, or yell, “Niener Neiner Neiner Race Doesn’t Matter”. Race matters whether you like it or not. Daisy Morales and La Raza know this very very well.

NJSue – are you IN NJ? Spend much time in Elizabeth, do you?

Submandave – who is “they”? (we both know – don’t we?). Since “they” are “taking over” – do you possess the integrity and honesty to discussthe real-world effects of this outcome? Please us Arizona, and California as real-world case studies. Thank you.

Finally – TreeHugger – what do the faces, at tree-hugger/enviromentalist gatherings look like?

    Uh huh.

We know the answer to that question, do we not?

Now let’s discuss all the areas of the country that you can’t go to, to hug trees, based on your physical appearance.

Also to all – please go tell ANY prison warden in the country that Race Does Not Matter.

I simply don’t understad why you are so invested in lying to yourselves, Daisy is being truthful, ya know, and her Brown People know it. Why are you so determined to deny reality, and so hostile to Human Nature, as [it] is?

FYI – Tree Hugger – frogs bleed too. Are you a frog?
To the Moderator/Blog Owner – thank you for allowing me to introduce some real ideas.

  33. major dad says:

Okay Denise, time to pull your head out. Of course we all understand race matters what we are saying is that it shouldn’t. For this twit to say she was glad it was a gringo and not a hispanic just beacuse she thinks those mean gringos would use it in an immigration argument is just plain stupid. As far as wardens go they may just say if you did the crime you’re doing the time regardless of race. Oh and by the way, Tree Hugging Sister is a moniker not an ideology, nice of you to jump to conclusions and she happens to be married to a Hispanic, me. Are you saying the Hispanics are trying to take over? Wow, I didn’t know we were so imperialistic. BTW to lump all Hispanics as brown is ignorant and racist which matters I guess.

  34. tree hugging sister says:

To the Moderator/Blog Owner – thank you
You’re welcome. I’m not sure my brother will as well, though, since you’re kind of rude. We’ll have to hear from him.

As for introducing ‘real ideas’, “THBBFFT!!” as Bill the Cat would say.

So let’s take a moment and you quit being a smart ass simpleton (Ooo! Frogs bleed! Plus, knows places in New Jersey.)

Let’s see if we can turn your lecture on race mattering any further than the skin you’re born with around, and YOU tell US why it’s such a GREAT idea that RACE SHOULD matter. Tell us why all races should be kept unto themselves and separate from each other.

Tell me HOW that makes the WHOLE stronger. I guess your argument is that there shouldn’t ever be a ‘whole’, right? You’re advocating a fractured world of societies, who, what? Prey on each other? HOW does race make that prison you mentioned better? (Or does it only MATTER in prison because the prisoners are preying on each other?)Really, help us to understand your ‘real ideas’ here.

Race “mattering” is a family/tribally based society, as NJSue says, and dang! I mean, that’s worked so well for the Balkans, Afghanistan, Africa, (hell, you can go on this tack forever) hasn’t it?

By all means, Denise (And isn’t that a “whitey” sort of name? No offense, just asking since YOU brought these things up and seem to have such an aversion to all things remotely Anglo-Saxon culturally)

Now let’s discuss all the areas of the country that you can’t go to, to hug trees, based on your physical appearance.

And that’s just wrong in the HUMAN race sense and always has been, whether it’s because I’m black, white, orange, brown, green or purple ~ I should be redwhiteandblue FIRST, wherever I stand, in the United States. And that’s how I live and ALL my friends HERE, and how we treat everyone we meet, without exception. Even little neinerneiners like you.

  35. Denise says:

Prior to 1965 (what am I referring to, you Brain Trust geniuses?), there used to be a concept known as the right to free association.

No more. Not since “Diversity” has been mandated.

If “diversity” is so desirable – then why are such extroaordinary measures implemented to force association on un-alike, and unwilling people?

Most people always have, and always will, associate with “their own kind”. Why is it so desirable to force varied and often mutually hostile populations to co-exist? When they really don’t?

Wouldn’t it be far easier, saner, and far far far less costly to design and create social policies based on Human Nature as it IS – instead forcing the tortuous, dangerous, and ultimately grotesquely unsuccessful policies of “diversity”?

Why are these thoughts and ideas verboten?

  36. Denise says:

Major Dad – you pull you head out. You are all so insistent (and NASTY aobut it) tht “Race doesn’t matter” – whne it DOES matter.

Why are you so INVESTED in “Race doesn’t matter”? What are you so afraid of? The admission the Race Matters seems to be so terrifying, that all honest discussions of Race must be squelched – by any means necessary. Why?

    Couo bono?

(P.S. – every last one of you, insulting and trashing me, are simply proving everything I wrote in my initial post.)

  37. Mr. Bingley says:

    I’m “hostile to Human Nature”.

Human nature is evil, nasty and brutish and through out history that has led to lives that were nasty, brutish and, well, short.

Civilization is about overcoming human nature. It’s a struggle. Of course “race matters” because we are fallen, self-absorbed beings, and that’s in large part why we’re in the mess we are.

The point, the challenge, the calling, is to make it not matter.

  38. tree hugging sister says:

Denise, your original post started the whole, torturous slide, if you’ll remember, which I doubt you will. And you’ve once again proven you don’t read a single thing with your snappy little comeback to major dad, who quite emphatically said, “Of course we all understand race matters

Kind of a waste even replying to you, eh?

  39. Denise says:

Major Dad – your arguments do not make sense – and seme ot be based on ignorance of What Actually Happens.

Every wrden in the coutry know that prisons must be strictly racially segregated, in order to prevent daily riots and murder. By the by – your ethnic group seems to be pretty “racist” against Blacks – hence the extermination of Blacks in the areas of Southern California where Mestizos are taking over.

FYI – s far as “lumping Hispanics together” – your Brown People” tend to do that all on their own. Errr…why WOULD the new AZ immigration laws include a bit about ending ethnic studies, that separate, promote racial hostility, and foment REVOLUTION against, and the overthrow OF, the US Government?

    Just askin’…

  40. Denise says:

Mr Bingley – I agree whole-heartedly with your overall total assessment of Human Nature.

I’m just asking, “Why make things WORSE?”

  41. tree hugging sister says:

    Oh, that’s it.

    Little wheel spin and spin,
And the big wheel turns ’round, ’round.

We are devolving into some pinhead territory here and I refuse to feed the squirrels.

  42. Denise says:

Tree Hugger – I believe you are White. You spouse has self-identified as Hispanic.

I beleive that your absolute insistence on “proving” “Race doesn’t Matter” is for purely selfish reasons. Neither of you want to take any flack, from either “side”, in your miscegenation.

No matter what destruction is wreaked the rest of Society.

    How nice.

P.S. – Daisy was being honest. She spoke freely, in a free country. (For the moment). I harbor no ill will towards her at all. I am not afraid of what she said. Interesting how the self-described “tolerant” crowd is so quick to smash down a word of dissent, or deviation from PC diktats.

  43. Denise says:

Tree hugger – insults won’t change thing.

Ya got no argument. You know it. I know it. You are revealing your level of utter ignorance of just about everything.

  44. major dad says:

Denise what you don’t seem to understand is that regardless if one seeks his own kind or not it’s not racist till someone makes it about race. I have no problem with Hispanic, Black or anything keeping to each. But, when one says race does matter they get labeled a racist. I’m not a fan of “diversity” I’d prefer if everyone just considered themselves as American. So I’m at a loss as to where you are coming from. This whole post was about a nitwit saying she was glad an event happened without a Hispanic involved less it would make them look bad. She really is just an illegal alien shill as long as it’s a Hispanic. Do you really believe she would have said the same thing if the shooter was Black or a white guy with a Hispanic surname? As far as being terrified of talking about race matters, where did that come from? We’ll talk all day if you want.

  45. Denise says:

The whole of human history is that of a struggle for turf. One group, against another.

    Always.

Outcomes always break down 3 ways:

    1) One group dominates social order, and utterly controls all other groups. This eventually breaks down to warfare, as the dominant group degenerates. The Fall of Rome, and all..

    2) One group absorbs and subsumes another. we’d have ot get into actual genetics, at this point. I don’t have the time, and the rest of you don’t have the education. The salient point is “diversity” is not wanted.

    3) One group wholly slaughters the other. This hase been the most frequent course of events.

“Diveristy”/”Multi-CULT-uralism” never works. Any nation that has every tries ends in ruins.

It’s happening now. Here, in the USA (and elswhere). Events are accelerating. The more any of you deny this – the worse it’s gonna be.

    Good fences make good neighbors.
    Good luck, folks!

  46. Denise says:

Major Dad – so what is some-one is called a “racist”? Do you know the origins of that word?

FYI – that word is really played out. No longer has any “bite”. “Diversity” is an utter failure.

Daisy said, in essence “Race matters” I agree with her.

Why are you so afraid of these thoughts?

  47. Denise says:

By the by – I’ve asked a whole lot of very direct questions – and not gotten any direct answers. All I’ve gotten are generalities, platitudes, and wishful thinking (“I don’t WANT Race ot matter).

  48. Well, Denise, if you don’t like the answers, you are free to leave the site.

I do wonder why you keep harping on race. Smacks of Hamlet.

  49. tree hugging sister says:

(Because she like circular conversations, darlin’. And you’ll notice, for all the smashing of dissent we “tolerant types” do, she has run her mouth something fierce, with little to show for it in terms of coherence)

  50. Mr. Bingley says:

Denise, I tire of things like “I don’t have the time, and the rest of you don’t have the education” and “You are revealing your level of utter ignorance of just about everything” and “Neither of you want to take any flack, from either “side”, in your miscegenation.

No matter what destruction is wreaked the rest of Society” and “By the by – your ethnic group seems to be pretty “racist” against Blacks – hence the extermination of Blacks in the areas of Southern California where Mestizos are taking over” and so on.

We can have disagreements, and they can get salty but that sort of stuff just doesn’t fly.

    So bye.

  51. Armando says:

Denise, the only reason race is still an issue in this country is because the Democrats need to keep the blacks and Hispanics scared and dependent. If those groups didn’t vote for them, the Democrat Party would quickly shrivel to a base primarily made up of academics and, on a good day, union members. Frankly, Denise, you’re helping the other side.

You know, if but for your miscegenation dig, I’d almost say you were a moby from the DailyKos. No matter: go back to Stormfront and STFU.

  52. Mr. Bingley says:

Amen to that, Armando, and welcome to the Swilling.

  53. major dad says:

    Bingo Armando!

  54. Laika's Last Woof says:

“She gets to read a whole editorial column ON-AIR …”
Yes, it was truly her moment, wasn’t it?

    Denise:
A Moby. Nobody who can use a computer is that stupid in real life. And I’ve done tech support, so I know stupid.

To everyone who stood up and said, “I’m Hispanic and Daisy Hernandez doesn’t speak for me.”:
Thank you. It is depressing that we live in a world where you have to forego color blindness and lower yourself to her level, but if there is hope for the future it lies in people like you shouting down people like her. I appreciate the sacrifice you’re making and am thankful for it.

  55. tree hugging sister says:

Laika, it’s NO sacrifice at ALL to shout down people like Denise, because it’s inherent in those genes she’s so dismissive of, lol!

And WELCOME to the Swilling, dear girl ~ a warm welcome to ALL of you, if we’ve been remiss in saying so during the course of this go-round. We’re really very friendly here, me in particular. I have a congeniality certificate, you know.

    Yes, I do.

  56. JeffS says:

    Nice smackdown of Denise, folks.

  57. Mike in Seattle says:

“Let freedom ring. And when this happens, and when we allow freedom ring—when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God’s children—black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics—will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual: ‘Free at last! Free at last! Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!'”

Now if only Daisy Hernandez had listened…

  58. nightfly says:

(P.S. – every last one of you, insulting and trashing me, are simply proving everything I wrote in my initial post.)

    You really are obtuse, aincha?

We’re opposing and refuting your IDEAS. We neither know nor care what ethnicity you are. Your ideas are dumb no matter which side you’re trying to prop up.

Speaking for nobody else – I’d say that your willingness to repeat history, only harder and faster, on the basis that “it’s the way it’s always been,” shows a hell of a lot of cowardice… or despair. At the very least it’s a pathetic lack of imagination. WHY must things be as they have ever been?

It’s most telling to me that you use PRISONS as a template for how the rest of society ought to organize. These are the worst of the worst, who can’t even be trusted to live among their fellow humans – and a huge number of them, btw, are guilty of crimes against their own ethnic brethren, not others. We’re supposed to take pointers from rapists and murderers and criminal psychos on how to live peacefully? That’s like learning calculus from Forrest Gump.

  59. Ebola says:

::blink:: So, Pop, explain this to me: according to Denise (you’ve ruined that name for me now, thanks) we’re supposed to go kill black people because we’re of hispanic descent? Because a select group, unrepresentative of “all hispanics” is doing so in a limited geographical feature?

I’m guessing her hypothesis is that the primary target needed to be black in order for a hispanic hitter to be involved. Impressive.

WTF is wrong with these people? Help yer fellow citizens, do yer part or shut the fuck up and get the hell outta the damn country. Self-idolizing halfwits.

    Ebola out.

  60. Crusader says:

Man< I miss all the fun.

  61. PacNWMan says:

Most irrelevant comment for the entire thread: You got me! I clicked the Fat Tire logo, looking for more information about the “nut brown ale”(guess I was thirsty or something).

  62. Mr. Bingley says:

Hey, Pac, sorry ’bout that. I was thinking whether I should have put a link to it. I’ll amend it later.

  63. Gunslinger says:

    Me too.

  64. tree hugging sister says:

Bingley’s a sneaky BASTARD(!) that way.

  65. Kathy Kinsley says:

Yeah, Crusader, me too. (At the risk of sounding like someone with an AOL account.)

Somebody pass me some of the Mudslinger?

  66. Kathy Kinsley says:

P.S. I googled the ale – sounds good.

    And I’ll raise a toast to color-blindness.

  67. Ebola says:

Best brew ever, Moose Drool, outta Montana. Love that stuff. 😛

  68. Yojimbo says:

Up until a few minutes ago Denise was one of my favorite names after the song of the same name.

    Denise, Denise
oh, with your eyes so blue
    .
    .
    oh, when we walk
    it seems like paradise
    and when we talk
    it always feels so nice
    Denise, Denise
    I’m in love with you
    Just a modicum of levity.

At this point, I would like to thank those bootcamps of hate normally referred to as ethnic studies programs. The universities new and improved upscale version of klan meetings on a regularly scheduled basis. I say upscale because it now costs you big bucks to get graduate degrees in in hate, bigory and balkanization. The march of history is not always forward.
